Depression Therapy Services
Struggling with depression can make each day feel like an uphill battle, leaving you uncertain of how to simply get through another day. Tasks that used to feel manageable now seem insurmountable, as if a heavy fog has settled over your mind, making it difficult to muster the energy to even get out of bed or tackle everyday errands. The effects of depression extend beyond your own internal struggles, as others begin to notice changes in your behavior and mood. Your performance at work suffers, leading to mistakes and a sense of disconnection from your colleagues. Friends and family express concern over your frequent cancellations and your withdrawal from social activities. Depression silently infiltrates every aspect of your life, robbing you of the things you hold dear and leaving you feeling isolated and alone.
Despite the overwhelming weight of depression, there is hope for recovery. Seeking support from one of our therapists who specialize in depression can provide you with the guidance and tools you need to navigate through this challenging time.

Depression is more than just feeling sad or down; it's a complex mental health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), depression is diagnosed when an individual experiences five or more of the following symptoms over a two-week period, with at least one of the symptoms being either depressed mood or loss of interest or pleasure:
Depressed mood most of the day, nearly every day.
Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities most of the day.
Significant weight loss when not dieting, weight gain, or decrease or increase in appetite.
Insomnia or hypersomnia nearly every day.
Psychomotor agitation or retardation nearly every day.
Fatigue or loss of energy nearly every day.
Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt.
Diminished ability to think or concentrate, or indecisiveness.
Recurrent thoughts of death, recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide.
Our therapists are trained to recognize the signs and symptoms of depression and work collaboratively with you to assess your unique experiences.
